A few words from Matt...
"My interest in aesthetics led me to complete my injectables and botulinum toxin training in London, which has allowed me to diversify away from my traditional area of clinical practice and utilise existing medical and nursing skills. For treatments, I use the leading brand products for optimum results. I am fully insured and offer a review for all patients approximately 2 weeks after treatment. My aim is to make you feel amazing. I have dedicated my entire career to the wellbeing of patients in the NHS and I strive to do the same for my aesthetics clients."
"It’s more than just about injections to me — it’s a chance for people to feel their best. I offer a variety of treatments, and use proven techniques to help enhance your natural look.

WHAT ARE ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS?
Botox is an abbreviated term that actually refers to Botulinum Toxin.
Botulinum Toxin is a neurotoxin that is made by the bacteria Clostridium Botulinum, anaerobic bacteria found in natural settings, soil, lakes and forests. Botulinum Toxin is purified for clinical use and cosmetic use and is split into 7 serotypes. This is done by their difference in potency and duration of action.
Botulinum Toxin Type A is the most potent of serotypes and is used for clinical and cosmetic purposes.
HOW DO ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS WORK?
Once Botulinum Toxin is injected into the muscle, the mechanism and action is to cause temporary muscle paralysis. The procedure essentially aims to relax and paralyse muscle tissue in order to prevent the undesired effect many currently experience; this may be in the form of cosmetic concerns or to alleviate the effects of certain medical conditions.
The solution is injected in extremely small concentrations and works by preventing signals from the nerve cells reaching the muscles – resulting in the paralysis.
This is achieved by the Botulinum Toxin preventing the release of a chemical messenger: acetylcholine. This chemical is exchanged between the nerves and muscles and blocks the muscles from contracting.
