HOW DOES IT WORK?

Age Jet is a type of plasma skin regeneration in which nitrogen gas creates a thermal injury deep in the skin. This means that the plasma preserves the outer layer of the skin until your new skin forms over the course of 10 days.

The states of matter are commonly known as solid, liquid, and gas. Under certain conditions of increased energy application, there’s a fourth state—matter with electrons which wander around freely among the nuclei of the atoms. It’s around us in our daily lives—naturally in lightning and the sun’s energy, and in man-made applications such as neon lights and fluorescent light bulbs.

AgeJET technology delivers this matter through an ultra-high frequency generator which converts inert nitrogen gas into activated ionized gas, the ideal basis for this skin therapy. This energy does not damage the skin barrier, but does cause the layers underneath to undergo regeneration, treating multiple skin issues simultaneously. Surface skin is not damaged as with ablative technologies.

AgeJET TECHNOLOGY AgeJET is proven to be an effective skin tightening method as it channels energy to the skin tissue. WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT INVOLVE?

Prior to treatment, patient to be assessed to understand their desired outcome along with their acceptance if any of downtime. From this the correct energy level can be selected subject to skin condition, skin type and extent of correction required.

45 to 60 minutes is generally required to treat the entire face. Treatments may be as short as five to ten minutes for smaller areas. Treatment times may vary, however, depending on the individual application, the thickness of the skin, and patient sensitivity.

For higher-energy AgeJET Deep Resurfacing Treatments you’ll receive a topical numbing cream to apply 30 to 40 minutes before your treatment.

You’ll leave our clinic with pink or red skin, protected by a layer of SEAL ceramide serum & Mineral SPF. Additional actives may be applied for the treatment of pigmentation, acne & photo-ageing to aid results.

Depending on the strength of the treatment, and how well your skin is previously conditioned, the downtime will vary. You may see a “bronzing effect” and some dryness or shedding of the skin which will disappear within a few days. It is typically for the patient to experience four to ten days of mild to moderate social downtime with most clients able to return to normal activities the day of or day after treatment.

Your skin will be more permeable post-treatment, allowing for increased efficacy of topical skin care which can speed healing while physiological improvements from your treatment proceed.

AgeJET treatments can be tailored to suit your individual needs & uses these energy levels;

Low energy settings (known as the Plasma Facial) increase skin permeability, which aids topical treatment effectiveness and controls bacteria to improve active acne. This is also the ideal treatment for Melasma, sensitive skin & superficial resurfacing.

Medium energy treatments (Plasma Regeneration) Substantial improvement to signs of aging, skin laxity, wrinkles, lines, texture, pore size and age spots can be expected with even just one treatment but a course of 3 is recommended for optimum results.

High energy treatments (Deep resurfacing) deliver results comparable to fully ablative treatments, but with less social downtime than ablative treatments such as Co2 Lasers. You’ll receive the benefits of lower energy treatments, plus additional skin tightening & contouring.

RESULTS

Immediately, you’ll see tighter skin over the treated area. Over several weeks to month, new skin surfaces as the regeneration effects progress.
